Here We Go! All about mE!

So glad that I'm jumping into the world of blogging. We will see how often I get things updated, what with my 20 credits in school, 2 jobs, and coaching volleyball I will be a little occupied this semester, but I will do my best.

To start off I thought I would just tell a little bit about me.
I love

  • my family
  • my friends
  • baseball
  • teaching
  • children
  • volleyball
  • coaching
  • tv
among many others, but those are just a few to get started.

Family
My family is awesome. Seriously... as much as I would like to disown them sometimes, I have no idea what I would do without them.

My mom is my rock and is always there for me no matter what my attitude happens to be that day.

Dad is the soft spoken and caring one in my family. He is quite at times, but is so full of love and kindness it can be overwhelming at times. I really don't know what I would do without him.

Alli is my younger sister and she can be a real pain sometimes... Ok if we are being honest, it's a lot of the time. However, when we do get along it's great and she's like my best friend. I know that as we continue to grow up we will only grow closer.
(for the record, she's not actually taller than me)

Jamie is my older sister and she is so wonderful and caring. She married such a great guy, Julio, and they had a beautiful baby boy in August, whom I am the godmother of. I love that little guy to death and wished they lived closer so I could see them more often. Julio also has a son, Gabe, and although I don't know him as well yet, I look forward to getting to know him!

Eric is my older brother and he always knows what to say when I need some advice. He is so good at putting everything into perspective for me and looking at the big picture vs. the little things that seem so important at the time. He married such a great woman, Beth, and they now have 2 adorable babies! Jaden is 2 1/2 and Clara just turned 1 a week ago. They moved closer to us so it is nice that we get to see them more often!

So now you all have been introduced to my ever growing family.
Until next time folks...

Believe you can and you're halfway there.

This was one of the most fun trips that I have ever taken. First time out of the country and it was a great experience. We met so many new people and they were all so fun to talk to and learn about. It was very rewarding getting to spend time doing what I love and teaching kids. This was such a different experience and I feel blessed that I was able to spend time with all those students. If I ever got the chance to go back I would in a heartbeat. I think it would be so fun if we were able to do our student teaching down there. I can't wait to go on another trip soon. Now that I have traveled, I never want to stop.
